I met this sweet couple at 7:30 a.m. at Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach for a fog-filled couples session that felt straight out of a dream. The coast was wrapped in thick fog, the tide was high, and the air was surprisingly warm — the kind of morning that feels calm, romantic, and completely timeless. From the very beginning, these two were so adventurous and laid-back, fully embracing everything the coast had to offer. We ran around barefoot in the sand, leaned into the mist, and let the morning unfold naturally — no pressure, no posing perfection, just real connection.


And because this is the Oregon Coast… we even had a group of elk wander onto the beach and photobomb the session. One of those wild, unplanned moments that made the morning even more unforgettable. The fog softened the shoreline, blurred the horizon, and wrapped Haystack Rock in the most whimsical atmosphere.
